Spring is in full swing for Stone’s Throw CSA! The growers have been refining their crop planning—which involves many, many hours working with various spreadsheets. The first seedlings are in the greenhouses and spring field preparation is underway at each of the farms. The steering committee has been busy coordinating membership records, planning member work commitment hours, and continuing to spread the word about our 2009 CSA program. The growers and steering committee have decided to increase the number of shares available for 2009, so if you have friends and neighbors who might be interested, please let them know!
